Law enforcement reporting

Please rewrite this I think law enforcement agencies should be required to report crime statistics to the FBI. Having consistent and accurate data is important because it helps the government and the public understand crime trends and make informed decisions about policy and funding. If reporting is optional, the data can become incomplete or misleading, which makes it harder to address real problems in society. Requiring all agencies to report would also create more transparency and accountability within the criminal justice system. It would ensure that crime is being measured fairly across different regions instead of depending on which departments choose to participate. While some agencies may argue that reporting takes time and resources, having reliable national crime data is essential for improving public safety and trust in law enforcement.
