Law and Ethics Mid Term Paper

In this academic research assignment, you will conduct an ethical analysis of a historical intelligence operation. The evaluation will be based on the detailed rubric, and you are required to follow writing policies and the Chicago writing style guide (cover page, page numbering, double space, headings/subheadings, etc.). The use of required texts and readings from this course is mandatory, but you may supplement them with additional academic (credible) resources. YOU MUST CITE YOUR SOURCES AND INCLUDE A BIBLIOGRAPHY. You should use a minimum of 5 scholarly sources for this assignment. This is not an opinion piece, this is an academic research assignment.

For this assignment, complete the following steps:

  1. Choose a historical intelligence operation (e.g., Operation CHAOS, Operation Cyclone, COINTELPRO, Stuxnet).

  3. Provide a detailed overview of the selected operation, including its purpose, methods, and outcomes.
  4. Identify the ethical dilemmas associated with the operation, considering factors such as privacy, civil liberties, transparency, and accountability.
