You will respond to several questions that will prompt your thinking about how your cultural background may influence your behavior and communication preferences. Describe what you consider to be your cultural identity. — In which ways are you a product of the culture in which you grew up? — How does your personal cultural background affect your values, attitudes, and thinking? 2. Identify one example of nonverbal communication that you commonly use and what it means to you. — Explain how it might be misinterpreted by someone from a different culture. 3. Reflect on a cross-cultural interpersonal interactions that you have personally experienced or observed. — Analyze it from a cross-cultural perspective, using cultural mindset and/or think knowdo frameworks. — Based on your cross-cultural analysis, what would have been the best way to approach the situation? If you cannot think of a cross-cultural situation you have experienced, select one described in the press, the media, or illustrated in a film or show involving two or more cultures.
