The Accelerate Case sUpon your hiring as director of human resources, you were told that AFS is exceptional at what it does well (financial services) and less attentive to areas of opportunity for improvement. However, when the company focuses on an area, such as the Women Forward Initiative last year or the recent Growing Our Roots initiative, change is possible.
For AFS to make a true paradigm shift to meaningful and sustainable diversity, equity, and inclusion, you are tasked with creating and leading a specific culture change. This change management plan will require multiple steps (e.g., analysis, choice of solution) and a strong business case to convince stakeholder groups (i.e., board of directors and senior leadership) of the soundness of the chosen approach and its importance to the company’s future.

Write a business case (suggested length of 35 pages) for the culture change plan. The target audiences for your business case are the board of directors and senior leadership. Refer to the following sections in the “Accelerate Case Study Documents”: Vision Statement and Values, Audit of Grievances, Workforce Analysis, Minicase #1, and Minicase #2.
A. Choose one of the given minicases in the attached “Accelerate Case Study Documents” (i.e., “Minicase #1” or “Minicase #2”) on which to focus, and then do the following:
1. State which minicase was chosen and describe one workforce inclusion problem in the chosen minicase.
2. Explain what metrics or qualitative information included in the attached “Accelerate Case Study Documents” highlights the workforce inclusion problem described in part A1.
3. Explain two potential impacts on each of your two stakeholder groups (i.e., board of directors and senior leadership) if the problem described in part A1 is not addressed.
4. Discuss one potential negative consequence of implementing a change initiative for the workforce inclusion problem from part A1.
B. Offer a meaningful and impactful solution to the problem in part A1 while ensuring inclusive practices for all, by doing the following:
