- Introduction: Provide an overview of the chosen health trend, its significance, and the rationale for its emergence as a topic of interest.
- Literature Review: Present a critical synthesis of existing literature, identifying key determinants, drivers, and contextual factors influencing the current health trend. This synthesis must include a minimum of three disciplines. Analyze trends, patterns, and disparities within and across populations, considering social, economic, environmental, ethical, and political dimensions.
- Interdisciplinary Analysis: Apply an interdisciplinary lens to analyze the complex interplay of factors influencing the current health trend. Explore how biological, behavioral, social, environmental, and policy factors intersect and interact to shape health outcomes and disparities. Consider historical, cultural, social, and structural determinants underlying health trends and their implications for population health and well-being.
- Stakeholder Analysis: Explore the implications for each stakeholder (individuals, health providers, health administrators, researchers, public health professionals, and global health workers).
- Synthesis and Discussion: Synthesize findings from the literature review, interdisciplinary analysis, and stakeholder analysis to develop a coherent narrative of the factors driving the current health trend. Identify patterns, trends, and emergent themes across diverse perspectives and disciplines. Discuss implications for research, policy, practice, and future directions in addressing the complex challenges and opportunities associated with the health trend.
