Answer these questions separately. You’ll use full sentences to answer. Each answer should be at least three sentences in length.
1) Where is lynching prevalent? What allowed it to continue there? (For this question, you can use understanding gained from the lecture and textbook, as well as what you see in the document.)
2) In this document, she is supporting her case by laying out some cold, hard facts. What do the numbers on page 23 tell you?
3) If you had to briefly summarize Ida B. Well’s argument to someone who didn’t ready this document, what would you tell them?
4) In shining a light on lynching, Ida B. Wells put herself in great danger. What do you think she hoped to accomplish with her work? Where do you think she got the strength to do it?
