For this assignment, assume that you are a domestic violence advocate.

• You are scheduled to meet with a new client, Cindy.
• Your meeting is schedule for the week after the 911 call
• To prepare for the meeting, you must listen to a 911 call involving Cindy.
• Make notes as you listen to the call.

Part 1: In your role as a domestic violence advocate, write a detailed case note, using proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, that summarizes the details of what you heard in the 911 call. Be sure to include all relevant information to answer the following questions:

Part 2: Interview questions

• In your role as a domestic violence advocate, identify five (5) questions you would ask Cindy related to the incident.
• Explain why the questions are relevant and why the information is important to assist the client.

Part 3:

• Explain why listening skills are important in the scenario and discuss the consequences of poor listening.
