GRAPHICAL COMPARISON CHART

Week 6

For this assignment, each student is asked to evaluate the governance policy of a firm they might consider working for and then comparing that to an organization considered the students chosen firms top competitor. The main purpose of the exercise is to help make a connection between different governance elements (e.g., board composition, equity holdings by directors, executive compensation) and a firms financial performance. Each student is asked to prepare NO MORE THAN A Three to Four PAGE (title page, chart or graphical representation, short paragraph for your choice of company to work for, and references page) GRAPHICAL COMPARISON CHART that addresses the following questions (You should use a chart format):

• Summarize what you consider are the key aspects of the firms governance mechanisms (compare and contrast in chart format).
• Based on your review of the firms governance, did you change your opinion of the firms desirability as an employer? Why, or why not? (Just because you are giving your opinion does not mean that you give it in the first or second person)! Be professional in your communications! Remember your Individual Written Assignment # 1 paper!!

Therefore, this assignment should be two pages minimum, but not more than three pages (and no narratives)!! Your paper should be in proper APA format. Submit your paper to the Assignments # 5 tab on Canvas, only! There is no TurnitIn portal for this assignment!

1. Title page (It is assumed that the assignment will be in APA format).
2. New Times Roman font face type, this includes the page numbers and headers.
3. Page numbers should be in the upper right hand corner of your paper.
4. 12 pt font type size, including page numbers and headers.
5. An APA formatted reference page. If you use a website link, you should be able to find the author and a publication date.
6. Your title page should include the Assignment title, your name, the date, the class and the instructor, which is; Dr. Jimmie S. Warren, Sr. (All should be in proper APA format). Your papers should be double-spaced (See the Formatting & Writing Styles guide for properly setting the parameters in Microsoft Word for your papers).
