Thailand’s Dance Battle performances is based on the epic Ramakien. This is adapted from the Indian epic Ramayana. This is story is called Khon and like all great epics, the story line is a battle between good and evil. This is a multi-leveled performances has been a part of the Thai culture for centuries, possibly originating in the 14th C.E.
