Forum 6 9/11 II
This week we discuss Jack Saul’s’ chapters 6 and 7 on Community Responses to the 911 Trauma. What is a main insight you draw from these readings on the models of intervention Jack Saul and his colleagues present in these chapters? How do you think these models of intervention (external/internal/mixed) may apply to other moments of community emergency? What community emergencies can you think of that have affected us more recently that you may compare with? What lessons do we take so far from Saul’s body of work (introductory chapter 1, and chapters 4, 6 and 7)?
