opportunity to delve deeper into a cultural quirk or norm that is of particular interest to you.
Craft a well-researched paper evaluating one
culinary practice from a historical, cultural, and culinary perspective. Students will be
expected to assess the historical pathways and value systems that have led to this
particular culinary habit or tradition in France and to explore not just how it came to be, but
what it reflects about French culture and values.
For this exercise, your work will be evaluated according to the tenets and principles of
scholarly academic research and Standard English usage and expository writing. Therefore,
