Based on your readings, how would you define management? How would you define leadership?

Reflecting on the leadership behaviors outlined in Yukl’s table (p. 68):

Which behaviors are more commonly associated with managers and leaders?
Which behaviors are unique to leaders?
Using the table and your definitions, explain how leadership differs from management.
Do any of these behaviors align with your current leadership strengths?
Are there any behaviors that highlight areas where your leadership could improve?

Watkins discusses “the seven seismic shifts” for leaders.

What do these shifts mean to you as you transition from one to another? Make sure to list each shift. For example, what does transitioning from a bricklayer to an architect signify for you?
