Ethnic music assignment

Find an example of ethnic music from outside the classical Western music tradition. Please note that all cultures have some form of ethnic music, very often originating from aural traditions. Please provide five points of information for each of the following aspects concerning your selection. Things that you might consider covering are origins, cultural context, instrumentation and any other performance practices. What significance does this piece of music or performance practice hold.
