Ethical proposal

The ethical reflection is a low stakes writing assignment used to determine the clarity of your writing and your knowledge and application of the American Psychological Association’s ([APA], 2020) format for scientific writing. It is also an assessment of your knowledge of the American Association of Nurses’ Code of Ethics ([ANA], 2025) and your ability to recognize a breach of ethics in a research study.

Instructions

Choose one of the ethical research case studies discussed in class or included in your CITI training. In the first paragraph of the paper, identify the study and the ethical breach. In the second paragraph explain which code from the ANA Code of Ethics (2025) was breached. In the third paragraph explain the redress for the breach. This content included in the paper should not exceed one page. Cite and reference all sources using APA format. Include a title page and a reference page and the title and reference page does not count as the 275 words and page count. Must be in apa format 7th edition.
