Essay assignment

Length: 3-4 pages (not including title and reference page)

Format: APA

For the week three essay, you will compare/contrast a novel/story of your choice with a film based on that novel.

• Be sure to support your points of comparison with evidence from the novel and the film.
• Any direct quotations from the novel or the movie must be cited in APA format, and full citation information must be included on a separate reference page. If you use any outside sources to support your paper, they must be included on the reference page (which will not count toward length).
• You must have an introduction that is a minimum of one paragraph.
• Your thesis statement must be the last sentence of the introduction.
• Your body paragraphs must be relevant to/support your thesis statement.
• You must have a conclusion that is a minimum of one paragraph.
