EL Part I. Details of the firm, management, products and services, domestic and international operations, and HTS classification codes of your firm’s core products.

Your firm’s background information: Review your firms website (including press reports and videos, if any) to learn about the firm, its ownership and management, products and services offered, export markets, brand name/reputation, and other relevant details.If your firm is also importing (raw materials, parts, or outsourcing any of their production, check if the firm is impacted by tariffs or any other constraints.

Study the HTS numbering system, HTSUS Code, and Schedule B numbering systems that explain the purpose of the product classification system in export/import transactions. Based on your knowledge of the numbering systems, determine the 10-digit HTS Classification code (s) for some of the firms products.

1. What is the difference between HTS, HTSUS, and Schedule B Numbering? Determine if your Firm requires a Schedule B number. Select one or more core products and determine the product’s HTS classification code(s).

Identify any of the key executives responsible for Marketing and international business. Submit 5 key questions that you would like to pose to the CEO/President or an executive in charge of marketing/exporting to know about the firm’s international business.

Submit a 5page report in double space; include a bibliography and a list of AI prompts and tools like CHATGPT or any other AI tools used.
