Environmental Health

The purpose of this assignment is to describe the threats to global health from environmental changes and delineate the role of nursing in addressing those threats.

• Use multiple sources of information (minimum of two) and cite them using APA format.
• Describe an important environmental threat to health in low and middle-income countries (examples: environmental toxins, air pollution, sanitation, water contamination)
• Describe the health impacts of the environmental threat and explain the role(s) the nursing profession has in addressing the health impacts of the environmental threat.
