English Teaching in Hong Kong

**Please write as if you were teaching in a Hong Kong secondary school. The course book has been attached as well.**

Based on the theoretical perspectives underlying the use of teaching resources, design a lesson using one teaching resource (e.g. online resources, school library, outings/visits, cooking recipes, stories, etc.), and evaluate your implementation of the lesson.

Write an essay of about 1,500 words in which you:

explain why you intend to use the selected teaching resource;

describe briefly how you would employ the resource in an English lesson;

critically evaluate and reflect on the design of the resourcebased lesson; and

speculate on some possible problems and suggest corresponding solutions.

**Full details of the teaching resource should be attached as an appendix to your essay**. The submission of a lesson plan is not required.
