Emerging Personal Theory Paper

*Do NOT pick any theories that have been done for the 2 application papers I have attached.*

You can write in first person IF AND ONLY for the personal observation(s).

You will write a paper on your emerging personal theoretical orientation. This paper will demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories related to clinical mental health counseling, including the methods, models, and principles of clinical supervision. The paper will unite a primary emerging personal theory with two additional theories. This paper should include the following elements:

1. the historical development of your primary theory and how the theorist’s biography impacted the theory’s development
2. discuss two additional theories that you might consider integrating with your primary theory; discuss how you might integrate them
3. at least three the key concepts (i.e. defining features) of your primary theory
4. strengths, weaknesses, and multicultural considerations related to your primary theoretical orientation
5. a Christian perspective (i.e., a discussion of the theory in light of your own Christian imagination or spiritual beliefs)
6. personal observations and conclusions; how is this theory related to your autobiography?

This paper must include 6 scholarly sources along with your textbooks, and you should include at least 2 primary sources(which is the textbooks, total of 8). It should be between 7-8 pages and written per APA style. Formatting, grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity of ideas, critical interaction with sources, and personal reflection and application will be evaluated according to the rubric provided.
