Draft of a problem statement

For this assignment, you will create a draft of the Problem section of the Problem and System Analysis paper. Just a draft of the Problem section. My problem statement: Patients who are newly diagnosed with small cell lung cancer do not receive sufficient patient education regarding their treatment prior to hospital discharge. Elaboration: Newly diagnosed Small cell lung cancer patients who lack adequate education about their chemotherapy or radiation treatment often experience high readmission rates after discharge. Instructions: Consider your Problem, and reflect on what you have learned about actionable problems. Write a brief paper describing the Problem. Include the following sections: 1. A clearly defined Problem Statement in one sentence. 2. Characteristics that make it an actionable Problem for you. 3. Potential causes leading to the Problem Rationale/Justification for why a change attempt is necessary.
