The use of Chatgpt is not allowed. I will copy and paste your answer into ChatGPT and inquire about its authorship, specifically questioning whether it was generated by AI rather than composed by a human.

Discussion question: If learning one language is hard enough, how is the brain able to learn more? Like if a child grew up with their native language and later started to learn another one, how does that change the way they understand, think, and see things? Also, how does the brain go from hearing a different language and perceiving it as a weird sound to processing it into words once learned? (Alondra Avila Garcia)

Grading:

Write any response as a formal contribution to professional discourse.
5. Avoid shouting your message. Do not use all capital letters (caps).
6. Remember we are looking for critical thinking, depth of thinking and synthesis of material. Make sure your ideas and arguments are sufficiently developed.
