Reflect

Reflect on your experience with e-readers and reading online using different devices. Think about what differences you notice between reading digitally and in print. Consider your reading speed, the depth in which you read, how distracted you might become, and so forth, with each medium.

Write

In at least 300 words:

• Describe the arguments regarding the advantages and disadvantages of both print and digital reading from the discussion resources.
• Determine if one medium is better than the other. Explain why or why not.
• Describe some of your likes and/or dislikes when reading on paper.
• Share one strategy that will be useful to you when reading printed material.
• Describe some of your likes and/or dislikes when reading on screens.
• Share one strategy that will be useful to you when reading digital material.

Respond to your peers by completing the following:

• Review several of your peers responses and reply to at least two.
• Compare your preferences for reading on paper and on a screen to your peers preferences. At least one peer should have a different preference from your own.
• Your responses should be at least 100 words each.
• Consider posting your required replies early in the week to provide opportunities for interaction and further discourse in this forum.
