Discussion: Policies on Fair and Impartial Policing

In this week’s readings, videos, and research we covered a variety of different components that make up fair and impartial policing practices. Based upon this research please share your thoughts on the policy established in Vermont. Identify areas where you agree or areas that you would suggest the policy could be improved.

Each week your class discussion will consist of an initial post and three peer responses. Answer the question thoroughly, typically (175-300 words) in total. In addition, for each discussion question, you will need to respond to a minimum three other students’ original postings with substantive (125-200 word) feedback. Please proofread your postings, and utilize appropriate grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Your initial post is due no later than Wednesday evening at 11:59 pm. Your three peer responses are due no later than Sunday evening at 11:59 pm.
