For this discussion post you will be answering a textbook question AND following the specific directions in this paragraph. Please read this entire paragraph before starting on the assignment. You will be answering question six on page 330 of your textbook. In your answer, please address the following:
- Describe Kettlewell’s moth experiment and what he thought it proved. Describe Matthew’s critique of Kettlewell’s conclusion.
- Explain whether Kettlewell’s conclusion is the best explanation for the color change in the moths. Use at least two of the characteristics of scientific inquiry in your answer: causal explanations, testability, fruitfulness, peer review.
- Use at least three sources outside sources (as well as your textbook), and cite all sources appropriately to receive credit for this exercise. Do not rely on AI to provide your answer.
- Be sure to have a response post where you critique a peer’s perspective and thinking.
