For this Discussion, you will make an introductory post discussing three business structures, with a specific overview of the B Corporation. Discuss the plausibility, validity, and viability of the B Corporation. Be clear about how your additional research leads you to an explanation of which tax structure you would choose and why.

Part 1:
You are the Director of the Small Business Administration and have been asked to present at a national conference on business. The presentation should depict the various types of legal structures that organizations and businesses can consider. Many individuals considering starting new businesses will be attending this conference and looking for key information on how to proceed.
In addition to providing a workshop and individual consulting, you have decided to develop a conference poster that clearly illustrates different business structure options. Review this week’s resources before creating your poster to ensure it addresses your prospective business owners’ questions and concerns.
Specific Requirements for the Poster:
- Describe the seven types of business structures. (Sole proprietor, partnership, limited partnership, LLC, non-profit, C0-Op, coroporation, subchapter S Corporations, B corporation.)
- Offer a brief benefit of each.
- Identify a brief disadvantage of each.
- Include at least one visual.
Part 2:
Visit the Academic Success Center (ASC) using the link below. Browse the different resources available to students. Then, write one paragraph in a separate Word document reflecting on what you found useful on the ASC site.
Please use the Student Paper Template as your starting point for papers in this course and future courses.
