Direct Service Intervention Toolbox

The direct student services of a school counseling program include activities that help students attain the ASCA Mindsets & Behaviors in the areas of academics, career, and social/emotional wellness. Direct services activities include classroom instruction, individual/small group counseling, and appraisal and advisement. School counselors use research-informed best practices in the delivery of services to meet the diverse needs of students in these areas.

For this assignment, you will develop an 8-10-slide digital presentation detailing two evidence-based strategies for each of the following domains (6 total strategies):

• Career
• Social/Emotional

Each of the interventions should include the following:

APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected. Speaker notes are not required for this digital presentation. However, substantial information about the intervention implementation should be included on the slides.
