BENCHMARK PAPER: DEVELOPMENTAL ANALYSIS ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS OVERVIEW The purpose of this paper is for students to demonstrate the following competency: Knowledge of theories and concepts of human development/personality development across the lifespan Apply a working knowledge of theories, terminology, and concepts of human growth and development. Discuss your own personality development over your lifetime and how it relates to the developmental concepts discussed throughout this course. Analyze your life as it relates to the key aspects of human growth and development, including key developmental events and the influencing factors that led to who you are today and who you are becoming. INSTRUCTIONS Incorporate throughout your paper, Eriksons stages of psychosocial development AND at least one more theory from the textbook. Additionally, Christian and Biblical principles are to be applied. Use at least six peer-reviewed journal articles to reflect on your developmental journey. The Bible is required as an additional source. Reflect on your whole lifespan, however, depending on your life experience, you may emphasize some life stages more than others when considering your overall growth and personality development. Glean information from your parents or caregivers, if possible, about your pre-natal, infancy, and childhood milestones. Conclude your paper by looking ahead to your future life stages and creating a plan for healthy development. Throughout your paper, remember to address your spiritual development in various stages of your life.
