My QI project topic is “Improving the Standardization of Respiratory Therapy Transport Equipment”

Provide a plan for the implementation of your QI project. This is the who, what, and where component of your plan.

Start by identifying all possible parties that are likely to be involved or should be aware of your QI initiative and why they are listed. This may include some of the following, for example:

Staff

Direct and Indirect Leadership

Physicians

Medical Directors

Other Interdisciplinary Teams (Nursing, PT, ST, Materials Crew, etc.)

Then provide a layout of how you intend to roll-out your plan and why you have included these various components. Consider the following:

Education (sharing your “why”)

Input on Planning, Design, and Roll-Out

Training

Roles/Assistance

Rounding

Communication/Discussion Points

Where will this occur?

Remember, a proper QI plan starts small and then expands after proper success

How long will this occur?

What if there are concerns, issues, etc.?
