Describe the main elements of the 21st Century economy

This is an individual assignment. You are required to create a formal topic-to-sentence outline and a full five-paragraph essay [containing an introductory paragraph, 3 body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph], followed by an appropriate Works Cited list, and an annotated bibliography of one source used in the essay. Your essay must be based on ONE of the following prompts [i.e., Question A or Question B below].

Question A: Describe the main elements of the 21st Century economy.

Additionally, you will state which one of the expository methods [Analysis by Division OR Classification] you chose to guide development of your response to the question selected, and then provide a three or four sentence justification of that chosen method.

Your essay SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 500 words and SHOULD NOT EXCEED 700 words. You are required to use three or four scholarly / reliable sources of evidence to support the claims made in your essay. These sources must be formatted as per the MLA 9th Edition referencing style. It means that in addition to the in-text citations, you must include a corresponding works cited list, which must be formatted according to guidelines provided in the 9th Edition of the MLA referencing style. The URL of all online sources used must be included. If a hard-copy source is used, you will include a picture of the source and information page in an appendix. For example, if a hard copy version of a book is used, you will include a picture of the cover page and the page/pages of the book, from which the information was accessed.

Following the Works Cited list, you must include an annotated bibliography of ONE source that was used in the body of the essay. The source used in your paper must be scholarly and/or reliable.

You must maintain a formal academic tone throughout the essay.

You will submit this assignment as a .docs / MS Word document in the Credit Assignment 1 submission portal, NOT TURNITIN, for grading.

The late penalty will be applied for late submissions made within the 48-hour window.
