Debriefing
Purpose
The purpose of this debriefing is to discover information and deepen knowledge based on the Week 7 Lesson and Anthony James i-Human Virtual Patient Encounter to improve skills and clinical reasoning.
Course Outcomes
This debriefing enables the student to meet the following course outcomes:
- CO 1: Demonstrate a head-to-toe physical assessment. (PO 1)
- CO 2: Differentiate between normal and abnormal health assessment findings. (PO 4)
- CO 4: Demonstrate effective communication skills during health assessment and documentation. (PO 3)
- CO 6: Demonstrate caring and professional behavior during patient interactions. (POs 6, 7)
Due Date
Graded debriefings are due Sunday at 11:59 p.m. MT.
Total Points Possible
This debriefing is worth a total of 50 points.

- You are encouraged, but not required, to complete at least one i-Human Virtual Patient Encounter attempt before participating in the debriefing.

Paragraph three: Reflect on the care needs of clients and families at the end of life in your practice setting. You may respond using a former work setting or clinical experience if you are not currently practicing at the bedside.
Posts should meet the following criteria:

- Add depth to the debriefing.
- Communicate Professionally: Communicates professionally on all posts.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Communicate respectfully, civilly, and caringly.
- Communicate with minimal English grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation errors.
- Participate: Participates during the assigned week. You are expected to meet the minimum participation requirement described below. You will receive a 10% point deduction in a graded discussion if you do not post at least two (2) times on at least two (2) different days during the assigned week.
- Post in the debriefing at least two times.
- Post in the debriefing on two different days.
