Each observation should last 1530 minutes and occur at two different times (e.g., different days or times of day). Take 4 photos of the area during your observations, clearly illustrate potential crime opportunities. Write 1 paragraph per selected photo explaining how each image reflects opportunities for crime, using key ideas from Chapter 2. Insert your 4 photos and the corresponding text into PowerPoint and submit it via Canvas. Notes: Your photos should speak for themselves a viewer should be able to recognize the risk factors even before reading your explanation. Be sure to apply relevant theoretical concepts in your analysis. ( Crime Pattern Theory, Routine Activity Theory (RAT))– choose one of these theories. Do not overload slides with text (100 words max, except conclusion slide) & (total of 7-8 slides max) 50100 words per slide This range strikes a balance between: Being informative enough for the viewer to understand the point without narration Remaining readable and visually clear (not overwhelming or text-heavy) Guidelines: Use short paragraphs or bullet points (35 bullets max) Keep font size 20+ for readability Use concise, meaningful phrasing Include images (your photos) that support or illustrate your message first slide should be the title.
