Research Conflict Resolution using your textbooks and at least one other approved scholarly journal article. III. Introduction: On a Word document, in 150 words or less write a summary with objective data to describe the conflict from both perspectives: yours and the other individual in the conflict IV. (Recognize Cues, Analyze Cues, Prioritize Hypothesis, Generate Solutions, Take Actions, Evaluate Outcomes) Recognize Cues: Include perspectives, feelings, and environmental factors. Note verbal and non-verbal cues from all parties involved. Develop Objective and Subjective cues for the purpose of analysis. As you are documenting this personal conflict, work to step out of the conflict to allow an unbiased assessment. State facts, not opinions. Give fair space to each side of the conflict. Analyze Cues: Review and analyze the Objective and Subjective Assessment Cues noted on the ATI ALT Clinical Judgement Worksheet. Generate a hypothesis. Prioritize Hypotheses: Formulate a clear problem statement that encompasses the core issues of the conflict. List at least 3 problems in order from the most important to the least important. For this assignment, you may list more than 3 problems. Generate Solutions: Set a SMART goal. Be realistic. Develop a step-by-step action plan using appropriate conflict resolution strategies. o Consider a good place to meet where both parties are comfortable. Texting is not allowed. A face to face meeting is the requirement, whether this is through a video call or in person meeting. (You may use Zoom, Google Meet, Face Time, or other video call methods.) o Refer to ATI Leadership and Management, Pearson Volume 2, and peer reviewed journal articles for guidelines and steps to consider. Cite your Sources in APA format. Take Actions Implement the conflict resolution plan. Remember to set ground rules as meetings begin. Take notice of responses (verbal and nonverbal), your own responses and emotions and any turns or unexpected emotional turns in the conversation. If at any point the conversation is highly emotional, end the communication and choose to consider addressing at a different time. The goal is to resolve the conflict, but be prepared that this may require more than one meeting. If at any point you believe the conflict is unable to be resolved by the assignment due date, please notify your instructor for next steps. V. Evaluate Outcomes-Summary Evaluate the outcome of the conflict resolution plan. Reflect on whether the goals were achieved or if left unresolved and how the solution affected all parties. VI. Evaluation Summary: Word Document Compose a 250-350-word summary addressing the following prompts.
