The purpose of this assignment is to conduct an essential aspect of the writing process: generating a concept map of scholarly sources to formulate the foundation of a graduate-level paper.
Using the scholarly sources you collected in the Topic 2 “References List” assignment, create a concept map. Note that a full APA reference is required for each source used within the concept map. The goal of the concept map is to group sources according to their themesservant leadership, ethics, entrepreneurism, and free market principlesaround the central focus, which is the career or industry of choice. A sample attached “Concept Map” template has been provided; however, you are welcome to generate your own concept map as long as it meets expectations, your entire summary and references are visible, and it maintains the intent of the assignment. After you have identified the sources for each theme, briefly summarize (using a minimum of 200250 words per section) how each of these sources relate to the industry of choice. You must include a peer-reviewed journal article published within five years for each theme as well as other sources from your Reference List as long as they are within the required timeframe. . You will expand on these summaries in the Topic 4 assignment “Three Pillars, Free Market Principles, and Future Impact” as part of your final paper.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
