Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to guide the clinical experience and your professional development as a nurse practitioner student. The clinical experience is directed by the development, re-evaluation and reflection of your clinical objectives.

Overview: Formulate learning objectives related to your specific clinical setting. Incorporate the course objectives/competencies. Part I is designed to help prepare you for the clinical experience through the formation of learning objectives to be met during the clinical rotation. Objectives must be measurable and pertinent to your current clinical setting and to the overall goals of the course. See SMART objectives on Bb, as a resource. Use the list of words that will help you to be successful with this assignment. Must include seven (7) objectives designed to be met during the clinical semester. Clinical learning objectives should reference the corresponding course objective.

Clinical Objectives Goals part I

It should be written in first person. Your personal goals must be realistic to achieve during the given time of this semester and measurable if applicable. If you decide to provide measurable goal then make sure you use an appropriate tool to measure outcomes. In addition, rely on your 7th edition APA manual for citations and references.
