Chapter 3 Highlight Writing: Yinka Shonibare

For this writing assignment, you will write a 1-2 paged (5+ paragraph) research / response essay about the artist Yinka Shonibare and how he uses color. I want you to focus on your essay format with an introduction, word body, and conclusion that support your ideas about the Shonibare’s work (that is at least 5 paragraphs, single or double-spaced, 12 point font). I want you to give me a brief description of the artist’s personal biography, how he utilizes symbolic color, and some of the underlying meanings explored.
