CEO Letter

Pretend that you are a new community college president. The CEO of your county or regions economic development council wants to meet again to discuss equitable and inclusive economic development for the region. In a 3-4-page email address the following:

• How do you define and explain equitable and inclusive economic development? What does it mean to you?
• What are some examples of inequities that exist in the workforce system? (Identify at least two.) Why do that matter?
• What are ways we can work together to build trust and partner with others in our region to start to discuss and make progress on building equitable and inclusive development? Who should we partner with? How do we build trust with them?
