Career Fair Alternative Assignment

Students will attend the Career Fair Success Employer Panel (3/4) and/or the All Majors Job and Internship Fair (3/5). Attending both events is strongly encouraged. Students will prepare for the event and participate by speaking with at least five recruiters.

Please provide a brief reflection (approx. 500 words) answering the following questions:

• First, include the professional introduction you created in class. Save this to include in your Career Portfolio.
• What event(s) did you attend, and who did you speak to?
• What is one thing you learned about employers and opportunities? What is one thing you learned about professional networking?
• What is one action step you will take following the event? (Examples: follow up with the recruiter, research an opportunity further, apply for a job or internship.)
