You will read an infographic about personal qualities that are important in the workplace from the perspective of a Spanish energy company. Read the Strategy to learn about intercultural competence. Then, read and listen to the infographic.

Reflexin:
Reflect on the messages in the infographic related to qualities for success at work and compare the perspectives to the culture in which you live. Then, participate in the discussion by answering two of these three questions, in English. As you read each question, consider what your learned about intercultural competence.
1. What cultural values might be represented in the infographic? Are there different attributes or scenarios you think are important?
2. Could there be multiple ways of perceiving success at work? What might they be?
3. How can self-awareness of attitudes, values, and views assist you as you examine different cultural practices, products, and perspectives of the Spanish-speaking world?
