CAPSTONE RESEARCH PROPOSAL

I am preparing a research proposal for my capstone in the field of Transnational Entrepreneurship. The topic has already been approved and focuses specifically on opportunity identification in transnational contexts, with emphasis on mobility, cross-border relationships, and institutional and market integration. Please keep the proposal strictly aligned with this focus and do not broaden the topic. You will find attached PROPOSAL EXAMPLES, A POWERPOINT and my research idea including teachers comments! The proposal should begin with a clear academic introduction to transnational entrepreneurship based on literature, showing how the field has developed from earlier foundational work to more recent studies. The literature review must demonstrate what is already known about opportunity identification and transnational activity, and then clearly identify a research gap. This gap should lead directly to the research aim and research question(s), which must be grounded in theory and supported by sources. The structure should follow an academic logic: introduction of the topic literature review identification of the research gap research aim research questions brief methodology relevance and contribution. The methodology can be qualitative (e.g., interviews or case-based exploration), but it should be realistic and justified. Please maintain a formal academic tone, avoid descriptive or narrative writing, and support all key points with academic references. The proposal should read as a coherent, theory-driven document that clearly explains why studying opportunity identification in transnational entrepreneurship is meaningful and worth investigating.
