Additional topics can be found in our course textbook or peer-reviewed articles. Students will formulate a clear problem statement on this topic. The final paper must be 12-18 pages (not including the title page, abstract, or references page) and include headings/titles for each section. All writing muse adhere to current APA standards. Support your paper with at least 7 scholarly resources, the main course textbook (Mello), and the Holy Bible. Students should review the grading rubric prior to beginning this assignment to understand the requirements of each section. The following sections should be included in your paper:
- 1: Introduction
- Background and Relevance: After selecting a specific area within HR, explain why this HR area is essential in today’s business landscape, considering challenges like globalization, remote work, artificial intelligence, or digital transformation.
- Research Question/Problem Statement: Formulate a clear and specific research question/problem statement, e.g., The problem to be addressed is turnover of software engineers working for start-up technology companies with less than 25 employees.
- 2: Literature Review
- Recent Studies and Trends: Explore the latest research and trends related to your chosen HR topic, focusing on peer-reviewed articles, case studies, or industry reports. Apply feedback from your previous literature assignment.
- 3: Proposed Methodology
- Research Design: Based on the research in your literature review describe your approach, whether qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods.
- Data Collection: Explain how you would collect data for this study, such as through surveys or interviews, or case studies. Since this is hypothetical, briefly outline the procedure.
- Sampling: Define the target population (e.g., employees in a specific industry or job function).
- 4: Proposed Findings
- Key Trends or Themes: Based on the research in your literature review and your proposed methdology, state what themes or trends you would expect to find if the study were to be completed.
- Implications: Discuss what these proposed findings imply for HR managers, businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Impact on Business Strategy: Explain how your research can influence organizational policies and strategies.
- 5: Biblical Integration
- Apply three Scriptures related to your study/HR topic: Scripture must be cited and integrated with your topic and research methodology. An example of citing the Bible could be: (King James Bible, 1769/2017, Song of Solomon 8:6).
- 6: Conclusion
- Summary of Findings: Briefly reiterate the key points from your analysis and findings.
- Future Implications: Consider how the topic might evolve or change in the future (i.e. emerging technology or global shifts).
