Search on the internet for health care organizations in your hometown or home state. Try to locate the organization’s vision statement, often on an “About Us” page. Search until you find two vision statements from different health care organizations. Remember, you can also search home health, hospice, nursing home care, dialysis, or any organization offering health care services. Answer these four questions in a 2-page essay. Include each question before you write out your answer. Give a brief description of the organization and provide its vision statement. Explain how the vision statements guide the work that is done in these organizations. Explain which leadership skills would be needed to guide the organization to achieve the vision in a health care market challenged by low patient satisfaction scores and high employee turnover. Write a vision statement of where you would like to be in 10 years. What leadership skills and traits will get you there?
