Assignment Instructions:

1. Select a Care Setting
2. Choose a healthcare setting (e.g., hospital inpatient unit, outpatient clinic, emergency department, home health, etc.)
3. Describe the Importance of Patient Satisfaction Data
4. Describe the type of data included on patient satisfaction surveys (e.g., demographic data, access to care, provider communication, staff interaction, facility and environment, overall experience, outcome perception, open-ended comments)

• Focus on at least two domains (e.g., communication with nurses, discharge information, or pain management).
• Identify strengths and areas of concern.

• Conduct a brief literature review (a minimum of 35 sources) on best practices for improving patient satisfaction in the selected domains.
