For this project, you will develop a 3-4 page paper (750 – 1000 words) to address the following:

Describe the various information and communication technology tools used in the care of patients, communities, and/or populations.

• Identify at least one of the information and communication technologies used in care settings for patients, communities, and/or populations.
• What are some concepts of electronic health, mobile health, and/or telehealth systems currently being used to enable patient care?
• Describe the appropriate use of multimedia applications in health care and give an example of the best practice use of social networking applications.

Be sure to clearly articulate the answers to the questions and provide a rationale.

As with all scholarly papers, you’ll need to focus on a problem or issue, make a logical argument, and assert a position. You do not simply want to describe the technology you’re using, but you want to critically give your thoughts and opinions about aspects of the various information and communication technology tools used in the care of patients, community, and/or populations. Be sure to upload your paper as an attachment, a doc or a docx, an approved font, double space, headings to help guide your reader through the sections of the paper. And here’s a hint, why not use the rubric criteria to inform your headings? Remember, in APA papers, the heading introduction is never used for the introductory paragraph. And it’s always a good idea to state the purpose of the paper in the introductory paragraph. So you should actually write the purpose of this paper is to dot, dot, dot. The paper must use correct grammar and spelling. The paper must properly cite and reference at least two professional journal articles and two websites and use correct in-text citation and APA referencing format. This is required.
