Assignment 2:

It is important to be aware of concerns/issues impacting the field of criminal justice. For this assignment, please identify THREE of the following concerns that are currently impacting your profession/organization/field:

1. Racial Profiling
2. Video and tracking devices
3. Social media

Utilizing key concepts from your courses and outside sources, please address the following for each of the three concerns/issues you identified:

• Identify and define concerns/issues that are impacting your profession and/or organization, with examples.
• Evaluate why these factors are important to consider.
• Examine strategies to mitigate the identified concerns/issues (i.e., best practices in the field, policies, training, employee feedback, etc.)
