Select a recent terrorist incident (within the past five years) and analyze how it was covered by two different media sourcesone from a Western outlet (e.g., CNN, BBC, New York Times) and one from a non-Western outlet (e.g., Al Jazeera, Russia Today, China Global TV Network).

In a 23 page paper, address the following:

• Identify and analyze the news frames (as covered in the lecture) used by each source (e.g., dominant frames, conflict frames, cultural recognition frames).
• Discuss whether the language, images, and headlines used in each article shape the audiences perception of the event.
• Examine whether media bias is evident and how it may be influenced by political, cultural, or ideological factors.
• Evaluate whether the coverage reflects any elements of infotainment (sensationalism, emotional appeal) over factual reporting.
• Discuss how this aligns with the concepts from the Terrorism and Media chapter.
