Why should we not have phones in classrooms? The issue with phones has come across people’s minds for years. They think they won’t benefit kids in schools but they don’t look at the bright side of the situation. While having phones in class can seem like a distraction they can also be used as limited to educational and emergency situations. Cellphones act as a safety device for emergencies and study more accessed information for class work. If using phones in class would be allowed we would have instant access to educational resources and research. Using the phones for the internet makes teachers not so stressed with all the questions. Students raise their hands constantly in class asking questions and needing help. If phones were allowed in class they could look their questions up on there to help them out. The reasoning behind this is so that students have access to more sites and so it helps students answer questions they have quickly. The safety of the students could upgrade with phone usage in the classroom for emergency situations or communications. Things happen constantly and if you need to know a situation going on in your family they should be able to text you. Your family should be able to text you and you answer so that they know you are ok. Theories across the world say that technology is taking over. Soon classrooms and other places will be full of technology, maybe even taking over the jobs of some people. Using a cellphone in class will prepare students for future references.
