The City of Bloomington (IL) Parks & Recreation is convening a brainstorming meeting to explore a fashion/apparel partner for cobranded uniforms, volunteer tees, staff outerwear, and publicfacing campaigns (events, trails, Playdays).

Bloomington Parks & Recreations mission is to enrich the quality of life for our community through parks and recreation, with a vision that emphasizes community, preserved green spaces, diverse programs, and excellent service.

At the state level, Illinois DNRs mission is to manage, conserve, and protect natural, recreational, and cultural resources for present and future generations.

Your job is to (1) draft the meeting agenda and (2) submit your idea on who could the partner be, and why, to the Director.

1) Write a simple agenda for a Parks & Rec brainstorming meeting. The meeting should have clear objectives and time allocations, and can be in bullet points. For example, the first item on the meeting agenda could be “Welcome & Introductions (5 minutes)”.

2) Written partner pitch (150 words): Propose one fashion/apparel brand that would work well for a public parks & rec department. In your own words, explain a) why the brand fits Bloomingtons mission/vision and Illinois stewardship goals, and b) propose one concrete initiative the partnership could deliver for the benefit of park & recs users.
