There is no question that there has been an increase in the diagnosis of anxiety and related disorders among children and teens. The question is why are we seeing these increased rates? There is no absolutely certain reason, but some recent information points to social media use as a potential factor. Jonathan Haidt discusses his theories in the book “The Anxious Generation” Instructions for Initial Post: After reading the book “The Anxious Generation”, create an initial post in response to ONE of the following questions.
