Antigone – Ancient Worlds Greece & Rome Purpose:

Read both the attached sheet of Greek values and then read the short play, Antigone, by Sophocles, also attached. The play starts on the second column of the first page of the scanned PDF of the play. The page before this discussion in the module has some background on the play. It will help you understand what is going on

pretend you are a lawyer and discuss how you would defend your choice (Antigone or Creon) in a court of law. What values, from the attached sheet of important Greek values, does that person represent? Discuss at least two values and where you see them in your character you are defending.

You can only defend EITHER Antigone or Creon in your original post

Use at least two of the Greek values in your original post to describe at least one of the characters. If you are not using the values, you are not doing the discussion the right way
