Annotated bibliography – Qualitative

This assignment will help you to summarize the information found concerning research articles. Locate and critically evaluate a QUALITATIVE research article of your choice related to the healthcare field. After choosing your topic, create an annotated bibliography of 1 source related to your topic in healthcare.

General Directions for Annotated Bibliographies: (sections are highlighted below)

An annotated bibliography comprises a list of citations to articles, books, documents, and web resources; use only primary sources. Each is followed by a brief annotation or descriptive paragraph summarizing, clarifying, and commenting on the source’s content and its relevance, accuracy, and usefulness.

An annotated bibliography must contain a full APA (7th edition)-style reference citation for the source followed by:

• a brief summation of the authors expertise
• a 4-6 sentence annotation (DOUBLE_SPACED) that provides a summary of that source and
• an explanation of how the information might be used in healthcare.

As part of this activity, it would be wise to become more familiar with SCF’s online Library by searching for an article for an annotated bibliography within the extensive databases available in MEDLINE or other databases in the online library. Please be sure to create your citation in the 7th edition format of the APA Manual. Be sure to include a title page and save the document according to directions.
